Abstract
Lignicolous fungi are very important functional organisms in forest ecosystem and play a key role in materials circulation.Diversity and taxonomic investigations on lignicolous fungi, especially from tropical zones in China, were carried out in recent years.During the investigations in Hainan and Yunnan provinces, three polypore species were identified as Junghuhnia crustacean,Phellinus tropicalis and Polyporus blanchettianus. They belong to the Meruliaceae,Hymenochataceae and Polyporaceae respectively, and are newly recorded from China.Descriptions and illustrations of these species are given based on the materials collected from China, and the relationships between their similar species are discussed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
