Abstract
[Objective] The research aimed to discuss the effect of temperature and illumination on the germination of Pinus tabulaeformis seeds.[Method] The indoor germination test method was used to determine the germination rate and germination index of Pinus tabulaeformis seeds.[Result] The Pinus tabulaeformis seeds germinated well at 25 ℃,30 ℃ and variable temperature of 20 ℃/25 ℃.Illumination was beneficial to the germination of Pinus tabulaeformis seeds.[Conclusion] The suitable temperature and illumination for the germination of Pinus tabulaeformis seeds were obtained in this study, which would provide scientific basis for the artificial breeding and revegetation of Pinus tabulaeformis.
