Abstract

Bonan sub-sag is the main target of the exploration in deep beds of Jiyang depression,the 4th member of shahejie formation is the principal oil and gas generating series,and the Bonan sub-sag is still in its primary stage of exploration at present.This paper presents the organic matter content and types and maturity of organic matter in the source rocks,and reveals that there is a high carbon abundance in the source rocks in the 4th member of shahejie formation with mainly type-I and type- III,just situating in mature to post-mature phases.According to analysis on the sedimentary facies and source rocks of the well Boshen-4 and Boshen-5,organic facies of source rocks in the 4th member of shahejie formation were analyzed.
