Abstract
Cryptography algorithm is an effective approach to assure security for sensitive information. An encryption method based on the chaotic sequence has been designed in this paper. The method takes the Logistic map of nonlinear dynamical systems as chaos model. Sequence generated by linear congruence method is used for mapping chaotic sequence to the integer space so as to solve the finite precision problem of chaos. Length of the plaintext is introduced as a controlling parameter in the algorithm. The parameter is used to control initial cycle times of the chaos and linear congruence, make the key stream related to plaintext, increase complexity and randomness of key stream, improves the ability of resisting attack by chaos reconstruction, and further increasing security. The experiment results indicated that the proposed algorithm can obtain satisfactory encryption effect.
