Abstract
To investigate the reason which HCG-β content in serum is higher in invasive mole than benign mole by study on quantitative HCG and hydatidiform mole. HCG-β in serum, HCG content and rate of HCG positive plasma in 32 cases of benign mole, 21 cases of invasive mole were studied using immunohistochemistry, microspectroscopeic image analysis method and radioimmunoassay. The HCG content of syneytiotrophoblast was higer in benign mole(0.560±0.064) than invasive mole (0.409±0.122); The rate of HCG positive plasma was higher in invasive mole (0.284±0.136)than benign mole (0.159±0.076); The difference of HCG total content was not found between them,P0.05; HCG-βin serum was rising more in invasive mole (248.16±15.9) than benign mole (165.14±35); Though HCG content in tissue of mole were not different, invasive mole which function cell and surface area was increased showed higher HCG-βin serum. It's evidenced that invasive mole was more malignant.
