Abstract
Based on the brief introduction of the self-organized criticality theory and its problems,this paper points out the power system is not a self-organized criticality system from power system's states,the disturbances,simulation models and so on.Self-organization critical theory is just a statistical theory,it can not fully explain the occurrence of c power system collapse.So it is necessary to study the evolution dynamic mechanism of the complex system.
