Abstract

Message-oriented middleware can shield the difference and complexity in distributed environment.It provides reliable and transparent communication services for distributed applications.The definition and standard of message-oriented middleware are summarized and several architectures of message-oriented middleware are introduced.Then the execution time is selected as a standard to quantitatively compare remote procedure call,publish/subscribe model and improved publish/subscribe model of message-oriented middleware.
