Strengths and Weaknesses of Chinese Women Volleyball Team——From an analysis of single technique statistics of FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship 2010

Abstract

By analyzing the classified statistics of the scoring of the top 12 teams as well as the 11 games involving the Chinese women volleyball team in FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship 2010,this essay,combining a comprehensive analysis of the statistics of individual skills,probes into the strengths and weaknesses of Chinese women volleyball team in the scoring of different skills in comparison with other teams.The result indicates that Chinese women volleyball team is comparatively weak in active scoring ability with low scoring rate in spike,has both advantages and disadvantages in block,overall service level in general and unstable first pass,etc.On the whole,the overall strength of Chinese women volleyball team is on the decline.
