Brief Discussion on the Waterfront Area Design in Haikou

Abstract
Waterfront areas design came through the transformation of flourish,decay and renewal,then at the modern world,waterfront areas play more and more important roles in urban design. There are extended waterfront areas in China,but the design level has very distinctly difference. In this paper,the development of waterfront design was run back over,and then the tropic waterfront area design in Haikou was analyzed from three points of dot,line and zone.
