Mao Zedong's and DengXiaoping's Understanding and Applying of the Basic Property of Contradiction

The law of unity of opposites, a basic principle of knowing and changing the world for people, is the essence of dialectics. Mao Zedong and Den Xiaoping were marsters of applying dialectics, but they laid different emphases on the understanding and applying of the basic property of contradiction. Mao Zedong laid particular emphasis on understanding the unity of opposites from opposites and resolving condradictions with the struggle of contradictions.Deng Xiaoping,however,focused on understanding a contradiction from the identity and resolving contradictions with the identity.
