Abstract
Based on the electrochemiluminescense,ECL)behavior of luminol in the neutral medi-um of boric acid buffer,Na 2 B 4 O 7 -H 3 BO 3 ),which was excited by the positive rectangular pulse, the enhancement of ECL from dissolved oxygen and hydro-peroxide is studied in this paper. The linear ECL response range of dissolved oxygen is from0to16mg /L and the ECL response lin-early regressed to the concentration of H 2 O 2 within the range from5.4×10 -8 mol /L to2.2×10 -7 mol /L with the detecting limit of7.1×10 -9 mol /L.Accordingly,the mechanism of enhancement of lu minol's ECL by the reductive products of oxygen was discussed and the reduction process of oxygen was monitored by using luminol's ECL.
