Abstract

A kind of distributed intrusion detection system based on mobile Agent is proposed,and this system structure and the Agent mechanism are discussed. The application characteristics and existing problems of mobile Agent technology in the distributed intrusion detection system are probed. Finally the future development trend of intrusion detection system is predicted.
