Abstract
According to the need of grid computing, a high resolution mesoscale numerical weather forecast system has been implemented, which includes global medium-range weather forecast, regional model, the explanation and application of numerical weather forecast product and five-dimensional visualization in Changsha Grid of National Supercomputing Environment. The forecasting area of the system can be moved. The system is fit for operational forecast of region or province meteorological centers and research in mesoscale numerical weather forecast. Presented in this paper are the compositing of the system, regional assimilation schemes and grid computing method.
