Abstract

Objectives:To analyse pathogenic factors of lumbarvertebra posterior border bone mass and diagnostic characteristics of image. Methods:Review the lumbar vertebral CT image of continuous 500 cases suffered from lumbocrural pain.Routine scan three intervertebral disc include L 3~S 1 in every case.Results:72 of cases(14.4%) are lumbar vertebra posterior border bone mass in our cases. In the 72 cases, calcificaton of disc in 37 cases (51.4%), cartilaginous endplate rupture in 28 cases(39%),Calcification of poterior longitudinal ligament in 5 cases (6.9%),lumbar vertebra edge proliferation in 2 cases(2.7%).Conclusions:Despite it is difficult to distinguish different pathogenic factors of lumbar vertebra posterior border bone mass by only CT or other image, there are necessary to study the characteristics of image for clinic diagnosis and treatment.
