Abstract
Objective To study the inhibitory effect of(3,3)-Diindolylmethane(DIM) on PC3M cells.(Methods Growth) inhibition test was used to examine the changes of cell proliferation,and flow cytometry was used to examine the changes of cell cycle and the apoptosis of human prostate cancer cell line PC3M cultivated in vitro.Results DIM of different concentrations could significantly inhibit the proliferation of PC3M cells.When the concentrations were 10,30,60,120 μmol·L~(-1),the inhibitory rates were 35.6%,58.8%,76.6%,90.5%,respectively.G_1 phase was blocked,and apoptosis was induced in 22.6% PC3M cells.Conclusion DIM can inhibit the proliferation and cell cycle of PC3M cells and induce apoptosis.
