The Application and Comparative Study of Concept Retrieval on Internet

Abstract

Started with the conception of concept retrieval, this paper introduces its application on the Internet and makes a comparison study of several Chinese search engines which have the function of concept retrieval. By means of analyzing the retrieval results, we find the effect of these search engines is not very good and there is a long way to go for its factual application.
