Abstract

According to the Statistical Yearbook and land-use status of Baiquan County,its ecological footprint during the 27 years was analyzed to establish and improve its ecological compensation mechanism,so as to lay theoretical foundation for the construction of eco-agricultural county and the economic development in Baiquan County,promote the benign cyclic development of rural economy and provide references for establishing ecological compensation mechanism in the same areas.The ecological footprint of Baiquan County experienced great changes during the 27 years,the ecological footprint of farmland was larger than that of other land types,that of farmland,woodland and grassland increased rapidly,while that of other productive lands improved slowly.Based on the ecological footprint analysis,the ecological compensation standards,compensation principles and compensation objects were determined,realizing the sustainable development of the coordination between social economy and ecological environment.
