Progress of Geotechnical Centrifuge and Specialized Test Device in China

In the past three decades,geotechnical centrifuge in China had been improved and innovated along with the progresses and accomplishments in centrifugal model test.This paper presents the progresses in geotechnical centrifuge and specialized test device in China.Geotechnical centrifuge with large capacity,advanced performance and complicated functions are build.The specialized test device of geotechnical centrifuge tends to be of multi-purpose and high gravity acceleration.The design and manufacture of geotechnical centrifuge,shake table,blast and impact device,manipulator are among the advanced level in the world.At present,research and development of geotechnical centrifuge in China has reached a new stage with the planning of giant geotechnical centrifuge to be on the agenda.
