Abstract
In this paper, the Jacobi elliptic function method is extended to the finite eapansion for the apploed Jacobi sine elliptic function, Jacobi cosine elliptic function or the third kind of Jacobi elliptic function to construct the new periodic solutions of KdV equation .The periodic solutions obtained by this method can be reduced to the solitary wave solutions under the linit coneition.
