Abstract

The value engineering is applied to control cost in the course of forming the construction cost of a project in order to guide effectively production or operation,control cost and make a project profit.Based on the reconstruction engineering of Qinshan Sluice,the method of controlling the construction cost of a project by the value engineering is introduced.
