Referee Bias Contributes to Chinese Basketball Professional League

Abstract

The referee is one of main floor superiority existence influencing factors.Using the method of GLM-nivariate analysis,it tests whether referee bias contributes to home advantage in Chinese Basketball Professional League.The result shows that Chinese Basketball Professional League hold the home advantage;crowd effects have a significant influence on the behavior of the referees.Referees are one of the existences of home advantage in Chinese Basketball Professional League.Finally,it proposes that reduce the home advantage in Chinese basketball professional league.
