Expression and significance of MCM7 and CDC6 in the diagnosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expression and significance of MCM7 and CDC6 in cervical cancer and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN).Methods:Immunohistochemical technique (S-P method)was used to detect the expression of MCM7 and CDC6 in 31 cases of cervical cancer,50 cases of CIN and 10 cases of cervical chronic inflammation.Results:(1) The positive rate of MCM7 in cervical cancer (93.6%)was notably higher than that in CIN (CINⅠwas 60%,CINⅡ~Ⅲ was 85.0%) and in cervical chronic inflammation.The differences had significances of statistics (P0.05).The positive rate of CDC6 in cervical cancer (90.3%)was notably higher than in CIN (CINⅠ was 50.5%,CINⅡ~Ⅲ was 77.5%) and cervical chronic inflammation (30.0%).The differences had significance of statistics (P0.05).(2) There was a positive correlation between MCM7 and CDC6’s expression in the cases of cervical cancer,CIN and cervical chronic inflammation (r=0.735 6,P0.05).(3) The positive rate of MCM7 in different tumor grade did not have significance of statistics (P0.05);The positive rate of CDC6 in G\-1 (72.7%) was lower than that in G2~3(100.0%),it had significance of statistics (P0.05);the expression of MCM7 and CDC6 in different age and nation did not have significance of statistics (P0.05).Conclusions:MCM7 and CDC6 might have a cooperate value in the carcinogenesis and progression of cervical cancer,and they may play an important role in the diagnosis of cervical cancer in the early stage.
