Abstract
The paper first analyzes various services provided by differentiated services(DiffServ). It then presents an implementing scheme of router queue scheduling and management for supporting DiffServ. In the scheme, the edge routers use token bucket tagged algorithm, while the core routers use random early detection with In and Out algorithm. Finally,a simulation by the ns-2.26 network simulator is used to test the feasibility and fairness of the scheme. The results of the simulation show that the QoS of the DiffServ for different business flows can be assured.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
