Abstract

Two factor experiment design with four levels of nitrogen and potassium were used in pot experiment to study the effect of potato yield with different amount of nitrogen and potassium fertilizer. The result showed that the average tuber weight per plant, large tuber weight per plant and tuber yield were the highest in potassium factor with high nitrogen treatment, the effect of potassium on potato yield was large, with the increase of potassium fertilizer amount, production skyrocketed. When the potassium amount reached a certain level, yields remained at a high level. With the increase of nitrogen amount, rapid increase in potato production until it reached the highest level.Continuing to increase nitrogen fertilizer amount, the potato yield decreased.Excessive application amount of potassium fertilizer increased the potassium nutrition level in the plant. The plant absorbing potassium more than the maximum yield was extravagant abasorption.
