Abstract
Effects of the low temperature stress at 5 for 1d, 2d, 3d and 4d on SOD, POD and CAT activity of the grafted cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.CV. Changchunmici) seedling on figleaf gourd (Cucurbita ficifolia BOUCH) were studied. The results show that SOD and CAT activity of the grafted cucumber seedling leaves is higher than that of the own root seedling leaves, but the difference of POD and CAT activity in the roots of the two kinds of seedlings is slightly small. The research suggests that the leaves of the grafted seedlings have much strong chilling tolerance because of the high SOD, CAT and POD activity.
