Abstract
The RFPA2D rock breaking process analysis system was applied to the numerical simulation analysis on the displacement evolution law of the overburden strata during the mining process of N1201 first coal mining face in shallow depth thick seam in thin base rock of Ningtiaota Mine of Shenfu Coalfield.The breaking development process of the overburden strata above the seam mined was simulated and studied.The paper revealed the breaking mechanism and the roof weighting features of the strata above the coal mining face during the coal mining face pushing forward process and the variation law of the roof support pressure above the seam.A comparison analysis was conducted on the site measured roof weighting step distance in the underground mine.Those could provided the important reference values to the roof control and the mine strata pressure control in the similar coal mining faces in Shenfu mining area.
