Guandian, a small town in Enshi prefecture, is developing comparatively fast and has made great achievement. It owns abundant resources. In recent years, the township enterprises have developed fast and the output value in industry and agriculture have increase quickly. The local farmers have shaken off poverty and taken a road to ecological economy with local characteristics. But compared with ecological agriculture prevailing nowadays, its development is unbalanced and the ecological agriculture pattern is not varied. Further research based on its resource advantages is needed so as to adjust the industrial structure of agriculture actively and rationally and to explore an ecological agriculture pattern complying with the practical situation of Guandian, thus to realize the development and stability of ecological agriculture in Guandian.
