Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of Gantaikang on immunologic function of mice.Methods The effect of Gantaikang on cellular,humoral immune function and on phagocytic function of phagocytes in the mice were assessed by SRBC-induced metatarsus-thickening method,antibody-forming cells count tested by modified Jerne's method and carbon clearing test,respectively 30 days after Gantaikang was given orally to mice with the dose of 0.135?0.270?0.810g/kg·bw. Results Metatarsus thickening degree,antibody-forming cells and phagocytic index evidently increased in comparision with controls.Statistics test suggested the differences were significant.Conclusion Gantaikang can enhance the immune function of mice.
