Abstract

Critical educational theory defines teacher education as cultural politics and the institution of teacher education as public sphere.The aim of teacher education is to cultivate transformative intellectuals.The curriculum of teacher education as a form of cultural politics focuses on the discovering of the relation of curriculum knowledge and power.Critical educational theory paying more attention to the political nature of teacher education can provide a lot of enlightenment to the transition of the value orientation of the teacher education in china today.
