Abstract
VGA interface is widely used in video interface. In this paper,a VGA software controller and its VGA hardware interface are introduced, which is able to control the LCD display showing a clear 24-bit true color images on the FPGA board. This technology is particularly suitable for a variety of real-time monitoring for the rear end image and takes the advantages of high-resolution and low-cost. The VGA controller could also be used in a system of video interface conversion as a component for the controlling of VGA interface display video.
