Forty-eight Cases of Chronic Headache treated by Acupuncture Combined with Bloodletting

Abstract

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with bloodletting in treating chronic headache.Method: Eight-six cases of chronic headache were divided into treatment group treated by acupuncture and bloodletting and control group treated with western medicine.The therapeutic effect were observed and compared before and after treatment between the two groups.Result: The therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with bloodletting was significantly superior to that of western medicine.Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with bloodletting is a better therapy in treating chronic headache.
