Abstract
Objective: To observe the effects of heart function by electro-acupuncture on Quze(PC3) of volunteers with acute hypoxia. Methods: Under the condition of inhaling mixture gas of low-oxygen, cardiac output(CO), cardiac index(CI), heart rate(HR), systemic vascular resistance(SVR) and systemic vascular resistance(SVRI) were measured with ICG Monitor when electric acupuncture was used. Results: The level of CO, CI and HR decreased significantly(P0.05), and the levels of SVR, SVRI increased significantly(P0.05, P0.01) when needling Quze(PC3). Conclusion: Electro-acupuncture on Quze(PC3) can adjust the heart function induced by acute hypoxia.
