Abstract

Objective To explore the variation of peripheral T lymphocyte subsets of patients infected human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) by blood transfusion. Methods Using the lymphocyte classification and streaming cell analysis on expression and absolute number testing of peripheral blood lymphocyte CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ of 20 cases of HIV carrier and 20 cases of acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS).Results CD3+ lymphocyte number of AIDS group decreased more significantly than normal group(P0.05),CD4+T lymphocyte number of HIV and AIDS group decreased significantly(P0.01),CD8+ lymphocyte number increased significantly(P0.01),CD4+/CD8+ ratio inversion significantly. Conclusion The number of peripheral CD4+T lymphocyte decreased significantly after HIV infecting, the more significantly decline with progression.
