Abstract

Body language is a kind of nonverbal behavior often found in the communication of humankind.It includes eye contact,hand gesture,posture,facial expression and touch,etc.The same body language can be interpreted as different signal and information due to cultural differences.Neglecting it,one may offend others.Therefore,in the intercultural communication between China and the West,taboo in their body language should be understood for the avoidance of cultural conflicts.
