Abstract

Qian Weichang's ideas of creative education developed from his long practice. His understanding of purpose of higher education is to stress the creativity in spirit and ability, which stimulates the full development of experts. Qian has some special point about how to develop students' creativity in spirits, consciousness, and ability. Qian pays attention to the teachers in the process of the development of creativity. He tries to develop education theories through practice.
