Abstract

Based on two level space vector discontinuous modulation Strategies,this paper makes the research on multi-level inverter modulation Strategies. This paper presents a discontinuous modulation method applicable to the under modulation conditions avoiding the asymmetric output voltage in traditional discontinuous modulation. The experiment in-dicates that this method can reduce the switching loss and be able to meet the requirements of the output waveform sym-metry and small harmonic distortion factor. It is a good modulation method in the under modulation area.
