Yangtze Poets Making Friends and Their Poem Creation Trend in the Late Tang Dynasty

Abstract

In the late Tang Dynasty,Fang Gan made friends and exchanged poems with Li Pin,Zhou Pu,and Cao Song,as well as younger generations Zheng Gu and Qi Ji.Zheng Gu gained benefits from Li Pin and Fang Gan,and shared ideas with Xiantong Ten Sages.Then he taught Qi Ji.Therefore there formed a group of Yangtze Poets in the Late Tang Dynasty,which kept influence until the Wu Dynasty,the South Tang Dynasty,and even the Early Song Dynasty.This group most inherited from Yao Jia with some changes.Furthermore,their close relationship made poets communicate with each other,and also made their concepts,subjects,and skills tend to be similar.
