Abstract
Objective To study the effects of Statins on C-reactive protein(CRP) and insulin resistance(IR) in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods CRP and IR levels were detected in patients with coronary heart disease before and after giving Statins. Results CRP and IR levels of patients with coronary heart disease decreased significantly after the giving of Statins for 3 months(P0.05).Conclusions Statins can decrease inflammation and insulin resistance and improve the prognosis of patients with coronary heart disease.
