Hakka studies are now in full swing around the world. Professor Luo Yong is the head of Hakka Study Center in Gannan Normal University which is an important base of Hakka studies in the mainland. Being one of the pioneer scholars taking up Hakka studies,he has not only made great achievements in his independent research,but also led a academic team in exploring Hakka studies in Gannan,and established an important academic platform for Hakka scholars home and abroad.
