Abstract

Single forming techniques and compound forming technology on plastic processing of magnesium alloy have been introduced. Single forming techniques includes punching and forging, extrusion (section extrusion and part extrusion) , super plastic forming, isothermal forming (rolling, drawing,forging), ECAE, rapid solidification/powder metallurgy,spray sedimentation etc.Compound forming technology includes cast-forging,melted metal squeezing , strip-cast-rolling, spray+rolling /forging/extrusion).
