Abstract

The glossary of the appellation of animals' sex is the reflection of stockbreeding society and agricultural society.It is also words and expressions muster in different emphases.Using the dialectological and sociological method,we investigated the difference between the old and the new.We discussed the common regularity about the historical words changing and the special regularity about the appellation transforming of animals' sex in Hunan dialects.
