Analysis on active characteristics of tropical cyclone at Northeastern Pacific Ocean

Abstract

In order to enable the ship's driver to know active regular pattern of tropical storm or hurricane which happened at Northeastern Pacific Ocean, tropical cyclone has been statistically analyzed by making use of the data from 1980 to 1997 in this paper. And synoptic climatic characteristics and moving regulation of tropical cyclone are given . Useful information are provided for sailing vessels which want to avoid hurricane in this sea area.
