Analysis on early damage phenomenon of highway asphalt pavement and its control

This paper analyzes early damage phenomenon of domestic highway asphalt pavement under standards-based design,discusses the causes from aspects of management,materials,construction,design,and maintenance etc.,and puts forward various effective preventive measures.In the end,it suggests that we should select different pavement structure according to different traffic and climate conditions so as to guarantee the highway roadbed and pavement at the design and construction phase,and to achieve the predicated design life expectancy.
