Abstract

Most of the existing ID-based threshold signature schemes are based on the secret key manager's identity, but the real signers' identity is unable to determine.A new identity-based threshold signature scheme is proposed based on Paterson's signature scheme. In the proposed threshold signature scheme, the public key of each signer is generated from each signer's identity. The new scheme meets the requirement of the ID-based cryptosystems. The security of the scheme is proven under the computational Diffie-Hellman assumption. The paper show that it is resisted against adapt chosen message attack.
