Abstract
Organic/inorganic hybrid mesoporous silica MSU-x with phenyl is synthesized by the single-step co-condensation of phenyltriethoxysilane(PTMS) and tetraethoxysilane(TEOS) using fattyalcohol polyoxyethylene ether(A(EO)9) as the template under neutral conditions. The samples are characterized by FT-IR,SAXRD,SEM,TGA and N2 adsorption-desorption.The results show that the organic/inorganic hybrid material still preserves a three-dimensionalworm-likestructure.The Ph-MSU-x has strong hydrophobicity, high thermal stability, large specific surface area, pore volume and narrow pore size distribution.
