International Reorganization of Shipping Liners and Its Effect on World Network Structure

Container carrier is the main controller of marine shipping market, whose managing behaviour and shipping network organization have the great impact on the global shipping market and evolution of marine shipping networks. Recently the organization of container carrieres became the important cases of global marine shipping market. Based on the research progress of marine shipping networks, this paper analyzed the coorperating modes and organizing process, and portrayed the amalgamating time map of container carriers. Then, this paper dicussed the impact of container carrier organization on the global marine shipping market, including transport ability reorganization of container carriers and trunk shipping lines. Moreover, this paper constructed the appraising model to discuss the global port system of main shipping alliance. In the final, the author analyzed the impact of global shipping market organization on port system in China.
