Abstract
Morphological differences among six groups of different natural waters Procambarus clarkii were studied. Three multi-variation analysis methods with 22 morphological parameters were used. Cluster analysis results showed that increased divergence degrees between Lake Hongze and Sheyang groups, and no obvious difference was found between the Lake Weishan,Yangtze River,Lake Poyang and the Anhui groups. Principal component analysis on the female ones distinguished four principal components with the contribution of 35. 060%,19. 371%,13. 714%,7. 303% and 75. 448% respectively; and for the male ones,at 46. 188%,13. 080%,1. 496%,6. 785% and 77. 549% respectively, the second paraeiopod length and the fifth paraeiopod length have a significant impact of morphological variations of six different waters populations of Procambarus clarkia. Discriminant analysis revealed that the identification accuracy of male was 78. 9%- 92. 1% and 76. 6%- 90. 0%. The total discriminant accuracy was 85. 0%. The identification accuracy of female was 80. 0%- 88. 6% and 79. 6%- 90. 6% the total discriminant accuracy was 83. 6%,for females and males respectively. In conclusion, the groups of different water areas had certain differences on the morphology of the Procambarus clarkia.
