Abstract
To solve the problem of transforming and aggregating of simulation result data in effectiveness evaluation of armor weapon system-of-systems, the utility functions method is put forward. Firstly, the article constructs the index hierarchy of armor weapon system-of-systems combat effectiveness. Then, the utility functions method is introduced to transform the simulation data to the sub-effectiveness and sub-capability. Based on this, the integrated combat effectiveness and combat capability of the whole system-of-systems can be computed. Lastly, an example for armor weapon system-of-systems combat simulation is carried out, with above methodology used, and the evaluation result demonstrates to be feasible and reasonable.
