Abstract
Because of being small in size and light in weight, the plane waveguide slotted array antennas have been widely used in radar antenna. However, the bandwidth of traditional single slot waveguide slot antenna is not wide. The problem can be solved by replacing the single slot with the double-slot as the radiation cell. The method is presented for study on the conductance of double slot. This research provides a new approach for widepand planar waveguide slot array. The experiment conducted on the array antennas demonstrates the method is effective.
