Abstract

Heart-type fatty acid binding protein(H-FABP)is a key fatty acid carrier protein.Human H-FABP is a kind of acid protein, with an isoelectric point of 5.1.At present,H-FABP is the most promising myocardial injury biomarker because it increases as early as zero to three hours from the onset of acute myocardial infarction. Its early release appears to be essentially dependent on ischemic myocardial injury.Compared with the established cardiac markers,H-FABP is a heart-specific and highly sensitive biomarker for the early diagnosis of acute coronary syndromes. In other tissue injury,H-FABP also has a high application value.
